Welcome to the website for the Human Resource Leadership Association (HRLA) of Eastern Connecticut.  As an affiliate of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM), we share the same goals of advancing and serving the profession of Human Resources on a local level.  As President of HRLA, I have personally benefited from membership by networking with peers, learning about HR issues that face us on a local and national level, guidance from expert presenters on legislative issues and making connections with vendors.  Many of our programs are accredited for PHR/SPHR/GPHR recertification. Our membership serves a very wide variety of HR professionals with members from companies under 100 employees to several members with over 10,000 employees.  This great diversity gives HRLA a broad perspective in its outlook. 

We would like you to consider joining a local SHRM Chapter, and network with colleagues who are facing the same legislative and economic challenges as you in the Eastern Connecticut area.  I would like to invite your to join us for a Chapter Meeting to better understand what a local SHRM Chapter can offer to you as an HR professional.  Please refer to our ‘Chapter Meetings” tab for further information.  Your fellow HR professionals look forward to having you join us at our next meeting.
