Chelsea Groton Bank is seeking a Human Resources Specialist. This position is responsible for all payroll administration, including recording keeping and reporting, as well as non-exempt recruiting. Will perform any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to our employees. Ensures conformance with established Bank policies and procedures.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Human Resources Specialist will oversee the payroll functions for the organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with all state and federal regulations. As an ADP Workforce Now subject matter expert, this position will be responsible for managing the ADP relationship, providing analytics, managing projects, and responding to all questions and issues for successful resolution in a timely manner. In addition, this position will ensure data integrity and compliance reporting.
This position will also manage the annual employee merit review process (validating accuracy of information, appropriate approvals, data entry), assist with applicable incentive bonus programs, as well as respond to compensation data requests.
In addition, the Human Resources Specialist will collaborate with various departments to support non-exempt employment recruitment. This individual will ensure all positions are advertised and visible in the marketplace, source appropriate candidates for selection, attend various recruitment functions (college fairs, open houses), review resumes, provide recommendations for hiring, and manage all logistics including compensation, offer letters, background/credit checks, training schedules, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for the new hire.
Associate’s degree, or relevant courses and seminars and training a must. Three to five years related experience. Knowledge of ADP payroll system required. Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures. Working knowledge of MS Office programs. Able to use various types of office equipment including computer. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
