Could you spare an hour or two to share your expertise and help job seekers in our local area?

HRLA is partnering with The Day’s Job Fair on September 1 from 10am to 2pm at the Mystic Marriott to offer free interview coaching to attendees.  We’ll focus on in-person and virtual interviewing skills, and proper attire. We know there’s a labor shortage – by helping job seekers present themselves well in interviews, you can be part of the solution!

Please email your interest and availability to info@hrlact.org as soon as possible, but no later than August 24, 2022. HRLA past president Janine Dunn will get back to you with the details.

Your time will earn you SHRM credit as a volunteer activity.   See SHRM’s recertification requirements handbook for details.

The Day Jobs’ Regional Job Fair will connect job seekers face-to-face with some of southeastern Connecticut’s top employers – from growing local businesses to national companies in fields including hospitality, manufacturing, human/social services, education, communications, and more.  This FREE event is open to all individuals looking to enter the workforce, change or transition into a new career or explore local opportunities.
