The Human Resource Leadership Association of Eastern Connecticut (HRLA) is proud to offer scholarship opportunities designed to invest in the growth and success of our members. Through the HRLA General Scholarship and the Margot Larson Scholarship for HR Excellence, members can receive financial support to further their education, earn professional credentials, and participate in valuable learning opportunities that strengthen their careers and the HR profession.
The HRLA General Scholarship supports members pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees, as well as those working toward SHRM or HRCI certifications. The Margot Larson Scholarship for HR Excellence assists members seeking professional development through SHRM- or HRCI-approved conferences, seminars, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
These scholarships reflect HRLA’s commitment to developing HR professionals, empowering future leaders, and honoring the legacy of those who have contributed so much to our profession. The Margot Larson Scholarship, established in memory of a founding HRLA leader and mentor, continues to support the spirit of lifelong learning and professional excellence.
Applications are open to active, paid-in-full HRLA members and are due December 1.
