Human Resources Manager – The Moore Company, Darlington Fabrics, George C Moore
Reports to: Corporate HR Manager (on site)
This position has been created due to a restructure of a busy HR/Payroll/Benefits department.
Position Summary: Manage the Human Resources function for TMC, DFC and GCM. Develop programs and policies that encourage an employee-focused, fair, compliant, and high performing culture. Major areas of responsibility include Employee Relations, Recruitment (non-exempt) and staffing, conflict resolution and progressive discipline, hourly payroll oversight and back up for salaried payroll processing, policy development and communication, compliance training and leadership development training, employee communications and employee safety and wellness. Advise Corporate Human Resource Manager on complex issues. Position will participate on the ISO9001:2015 certification team. Responsible for one direct report (Human Resources Coordinator) and oversight of the Benefits and Payroll Administrator. Total employees: 220. Department includes Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits Administration.
Position has significant career growth to include promotion to Corporate Human Resources Manager within three years.
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Human Resources Certificate a plus PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required
5-7 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist/Practitioner required, at a company with at least 200 employees. Previous work in a manufacturing environment or 24/7 operation a plus.
Previous operations supervisory experience (outside of HR) a plus
Working knowledge of Ceridian WFM and Dayforce a plus; working knowledge of a payroll Time & Attendance, HRIS and Payroll Management system preferred (ADP, Peoplesoft, etc, ) Microsoft Office
