    We are seeking dedicated professionals to staff our quality programs.  

    Human Resources Professional – Human Resources – $23.59/Hr 
    Closing Date: 05/04/2026 

    FT 40 Hr/wk Provides support to busy Human Resources department in the areas of recruitment and compliance. responsibilities including: Implementing recruitment strategies to fill vacancies efficiently with skilled personnel for a caring, mid size Top Work Place. Attention to detail while posting job opportunities, maintaining applicant files, screening resumes for hiring managers is essential. Seeking someone who demonstrates professional acumen when attending recruitment events, extending contingent and post offers and conducting applicant background checks. This position also requires coordinating start dates and necessary paperwork with newly hired employees, supervisors, and other departments.
    Worksite: Norwich
    Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

    Duties and Responsibilities: 
    Implement recruitment strategies such as expanded search resumes, job fairs, and strategic plans for filling in vacancies
    Posts job opportunities on Indeed, CT Hires, Handshake, College Boards, and other promotional recruitment sites with approval
    Conducts staff credential verifications, reference checks, background checks, and referrals for drug screens
    Coordinates start dates and necessary paperwork with New Hires, Supervisors, and other departments
    Conducts new hire payroll orientation and designated new hire orientation sessions
    Completes E-Verify process and ensures all proper I-9 documentation is in order
    Make contingent job offers and post job offers with approval
    Tracks applicant resumes per EEO & Agency guidelines and screens them for the hiring supervisors
    Updates and maintains the Agency resume bank
    Coordinates regret letters, post offer letters, and closes applicant files
    Maintains detailed applicant files and timelines
    Updates and maintains accurate personnel records
    Assists in monthly Human Resources project list
    Provides data for Human Resources reporting as needed
    Assists in planning Human Resources sponsored events
    Maintains confidentiality at all times
    Engages in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, and respond to pertinent Agency information/communication, and disseminates as appropriate
    Provides working conditions that maximize safety for staff and program participants
    Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to Agency Policies and procedures, training requirements, etc.
    Performs duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and Values

    Education and Experience: 
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources required
    HR related certification preferred
    Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration and insurance
    Good driving record
