Webinar about HR Certification Options: New Choices for 2015

Nat Brown 0

Please join us virtually for a 1-hour Webinar, An Informative Discussion about HR Certification Options: New Choices for 2015, presented by the CT SHRM State Certification Director, Janine Dunn, SHRM-SCP & SPHR, and SOCT SHRM’s Director of Certification, Debbie Perry, SHRM-SCP & SPHR, on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015 from 3pm – 4pm EST.

Learn more about the new SHRM certifications: SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP vs. current HRCI credentials: PHR, SPHR, GPHR!

Janine DunnSHRM-SCP & SPHR, CT SHRM State Certification Director, and Debbie Perry, SHRM-SCP & SPHR, SOCT SHRM Director, Certification, will be presenting up-to-date information on the new SHRM Certification. They have gone through the process and each has the new certification in addition to their SPHR certification. They will explain how it works, how it compares to an HRCI certification, how to certify and re-certify, and the pros/cons of each certification, and will answer your questions.

Janine and Debbie will provide an overview of the new SHRM certifications, SHRM-Certified Professional and the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, a comparison to the HRCI certifications, and will review the documentation provided by SHRM and HRCI, including eligibility guidelines, testing windows, fees and requirements to recertify. In addition, you will:

  • Learn what steps you should take if you currently hold valid HRCI credentials – PHR, SPHR, or GPHR, and gather information regarding the SHRM Pathway process first-hand, which will allow you to earn the new SHRM credits at no additional cost during 2015.
  • Participate in a discussion that will help you decide which credentials are best suited to your current situation.
  • Discover educational opportunities that can help you prepare for certification exams.
  • Understand recertification requirements for both SHRM and HRCI.
