Employers of 15 or more employees have an obligation under the Americans with Disabilities Act to make reasonable accommodations which permit individuals with disabilities to perform their jobs. A reasonable accommodation is, generally, “any change in the work environment or in the way things are customarily done that enables an individual with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunity.” What does this mean?
